The day finally arrived. April 22, 2009 our little bundle finally made his debut into the world. After 31 hours of labor and lots of screaming, I started to think it would never happen. But suddenly this beautiful fuzzy headed boy was placed on my chest and our world has been full of amazement ever since.
Briggs Matthew Logan, weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce and
measuring 19 inches is now the center of our universe. Every coo, every cry and yes, even every dirty diaper is just so dang cute that Matt and I are convinced we are the proud parents of the most beautiful baby in the world.
We're all home from the hospital now after an extended stay due to Briggs having a bit of Jaundice. But we were just given a c
lean bill of health and he's doing great. In fact, the little trooper got to where he didn't even cry when they'd prick his heel for blood. He'd just sit there and wait, knowing he'd be rewarded with a good round of breast feeding afterwards. Speaking of which, he is a natural breast feeder. This of course makes his daddy very proud knowing that his son is also a boob man. Lol.

For Briggs' first Memorial Day, His Mama, Daddy, Auntie Lizzy & Uncle Trav took him to the park. And of course we brought Marsellus along too. I think he had more fun than anyone. We got some much needed sun, layed under a tree and just watched the people go by. Here are some pics of our relaxing day.
It's been a busy few weeks. We've had lots of visitors and have done lots of fun stuff. Grandpa Reuben Chudy came to visit from California to hold and meet his grandson and of course to spoil me as well! He still makes the best waffles for breakfast. Then we had Susan & Noah Cape from L.A. and Beth Chudy from NYC come up to meet Briggs as well. 
Other than that Briggs also got to take some naps, take a few baths, get a visit from Mommy Paige and Nana Kathy, have several meals and of course, take some more naps. We hope you enjoy the new pics and we will keep more coming. Lots of love, Jenny, Matt & Mr. Briggs.
